Who We Serve
We serve female identified African American high school girls
Why Black Girls?
The research tells us that Black Girls have a unique set of barriers that are directly connected to their race, gender, and class identity
We use hand on culturally responsive programming designed to help address the opportunity gaps Black girls face
Since our inception in November 2014, we have reached over 250 girls. We have created 6 part time jobs for college students, 10 part time jobs for high school girls, provided over 110 hours of service, gifted 30 computers to low/middle income families, and more...
Partners and Donors
We make this work happen through partnerships and generous donors.
A $25 donation can create a scholarship for a girl to attend a camp. A $250 donation can pay a girl to be a Peer Mentor for others. A $2,500 donation will pay the salary of two college students to serve as teachers and mentors.
You Can Help
We are looking for donors, teachers, board members, and volunteers.
