June Social Justice Break Camp

Are you interested in learning about leadership, social justice, and how to use technology to make change in your community? If so, join us during Spring Break. The Camp will take place at the Black American West Museum located at 3091 California Street in the historic Five Points Community. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Camp takes place Monday-Friday June 6-10th with an Orientation on Saturday June 4th and a Graduation on Saturday June 11th.

Below are the important dates:

  • Orientation is Saturday June 4th from 10am -12pm at Blair Caldwell Library on the 3rd Floor.

  • Participants and parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to attend orientation.

  • Camp Meets at the Black American West Museum from Monday-Friday from 10am - 5pm (80% attendance or better is required to graduate).

  • Camp Graduation is Saturday June 11th at Blair Caldwell Library on the 3rd Floor.

  • All Participants must fill out the application

  • Tuition is $25, however scholarship are available. To apply for a scholarship click here

  • The tuition covers T-shirts, snacks, and lunches.

  • Healthy lunch will be served daily by Revolution Foods. Feel free to check out their menu. In addition to lunches 1 snack will be provided each day. The snack may range from cookies to fruit.

  • The application deadline is May 20th.
